Domaine Chaume-Arnaud, Cotes du Rhone 'Le Petit Coquet', 2023
is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
From the northern edge of the Southern Rhône, Domaine Chaume-Arnaud is best known for their soulful reds from Vinsobres. But here’s a little secret: their whites are just as compelling—especially Le Petit Coquet, a joyful, sun-kissed blend that flips the Côtes du Rhône script.
Rather than Grenache Blanc or Viognier, this bottling leans on Clairette and Marsanne, with just a touch of Ugni Blanc. That means it’s all about freshness and texture—dry as a stone, with notes of white peach, chamomile, citrus pith, and a whisper of wild herbs. It’s breezy and quaffable, but with enough savory depth to keep it interesting through a meal.
Certified organic and fermented with native yeasts, this is natural wine without the baggage—clean, expressive, and utterly drinkable.
Pair it with: salty cheeses, grilled fish, or whatever’s in your picnic basket.
