Domaine de la Chevalerie is a benchmark in Bourgueil, known for producing Cabernet Franc that’s soulful, structured, and built to age. “Bretêche” comes from a limestone-heavy site at the eastern end of the appellation, and it's always the most elegant, mineral, and long-aging of their single-vineyard wines.

The 2015 vintage brought both ripeness and freshness—resulting in a wine that’s now beautifully integrated. Aromas of red currant, tobacco, forest floor, and graphite rise from the glass, followed by a palate that’s savory, mineral, and finely textured, with soft tannins and a long, earthy finish. It’s still vibrant, but layered with the subtle depth that only time can bring.

Pair it with roast lamb, mushroom dishes, or aged cheeses—or just pour a glass and enjoy how gracefully Loire Cab Franc can age.
