Comtes Lafon has shaped modern biodynamic Burgundy since Dominique Lafon pioneered the practice in the 1990s—now his daughter Léa and nephew Pierre lead the fifth generation. Bouchères is a hidden gem among Meursault's premier crus: a high-altitude, steeply sloped east-facing site with limestone-rich soil and an extremely small holding. The wine cuts with razor-sharp focus and lip-smacking salinity, layering citrus, hazelnut, and quince with mineral tension that sets it apart from its more opulent siblings. This is a wine that reveals itself slowly.
