"The 2022 Volnay Village was almost completely de-stemmed and comes from the young vines in Santenots. It has a perfumed nose of black plum, raspberry fruit, and a touch of dried iris flower. This Volnay has crunchy tannins and pure black fruit with a slightly chalky textured finish. Lots of depth, considering this is a Village Cru, perhaps betraying its Santenot origins." —Neal Martin
