Grand Cru Burgundy from Bourgogne Aujourd'hui's "Hope of the Year" (2008). David Croix founded this estate in 2005 after 15 years at Maison Camille Giroud. Organic since 2008, spontaneous fermentation in open oak vats, minimal new oak (20-30%), whole bunches used sparingly. Corton is one of only two red Grand Crus in the Côte de Beaune. The Vigne au Saint parcel offers powerful, complex terroir expression. Built for decades of aging.

He begin his winemaking career straight out of viticulture school when he took over the reigns at Camille Giroud (as well as working with Guy Roulot), when he was just 24 years old. In 2016 he quit his day job to focus entirely on his own small domaine, which he purchased back in 2005.
