Loire Cabernet Franc from two brothers who traded engineering careers for vines. Henri and Valentin Bruneau acquired their 11-hectare estate in Beaumont-en-Veron in 2019, farming organically from the start. Les Moulins de Beau Puy comes from a north-facing hillside on yellow tuffeau limestone—the chalky bedrock that gives Chinon its structure. Vines are 25-60 years old. Natural fermentation in concrete, aged 9 months. Floral, elegant, with integrated tannins and a salivating mineral finish. Classic Loire red for the table.

Two brothers who ditched steady careers to farm 27 acres of ancient vines near Chinon—Henri and Valentin grew up in the shadow of the Loire and both became engineers before deciding that wine mattered more. They respect the old vineyard blocks (35–50 years old) and the limestone terroir, making Loire reds that taste like the soil itself—tangy, mineral, built for food rather than fawning over ratings. Organic farmers making wines that actually taste interesting, not just technically correct.
