What is this wine?
Eudes is a young estate on Mount Etna, Sicily’s most dynamic wine region. Founded by winemaker Giuseppe Russo in 2019, the project focuses on small, high-altitude parcels of Nerello Mascalese (with a touch of Nerello Cappuccio). The 2021 Etna Rosso comes from volcanic soils on the northern slopes of the volcano, an area famed for wines of finesse and structure.

What does this wine taste like?
Medium-bodied and aromatic, with bright red cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate fruit layered with notes of dried herbs, rose petals, and a smoky mineral edge from the volcanic soil. Fine tannins and lively acidity keep it elegant and food-friendly.
When should you drink this wine?
Perfect now with Sicilian fare, roast chicken, or earthy mushroom dishes. It will also age gracefully for 5–7 years. A short decant enhances aromatics.
