A Gran Reserva white is a rare thing — most Spanish whites are made to drink young, but this one is built to age. Finca Torremilanos is the second-oldest estate in Ribera del Duero (after Vega Sicilia) and the first in the region to go fully biodynamic, working old vines at 800-plus meters of elevation. This barrel-aged white shows what time and patience can coax out of Ribera's native white grapes: power, texture, and a waxy, nutty complexity. A serious, gastronomic white for the curious. Decant it and don't serve it too cold.

Founded in 1903, Finca Torremilanos is the second-oldest winery in what's now Ribera del Duero, and in 2015 they became the first Demeter-certified biodynamic estate in the appellation. Pilar Pérez Albéniz leads with her sons Ricardo and Vicente, crafting Riojas that honor tradition while looking forward. This is Spanish wine made thoughtfully.
