MunJebel PA is Cornelissen's bottling from the contrada Porcaria on Mount Etna's northern slopes. Like the rest of the MunJebel reds it's pure Nerello Mascalese, labeled with a two-letter contrada code so you can taste the volcano vineyard by vineyard. Frank is the Belgian former wine importer who chased Burgundy to Sicily and now makes these with no additions and a fanatically clean cellar, so they're alive rather than feral. Porcaria leans toward darker fruit and savory depth. The 2021 is youthful; decant it or give it a few years.
