The Roseneck sits high on the Rudesheimer Berg, one of the steepest, sunniest stretches of the Rheingau, where the Rhine bends and the vines cling to terraced slopes of quartzite, slate, and clay. This is bone-dry Riesling built on that crystalline mineral scaffold—a wine that needs a little cellar time to unfurl its quivering, delicate intensity. Georg Breuer helped lead Germany's dry-Riesling renaissance, and daughter Theresa now farms these grand cru sites organically, releasing them with bottle age so they arrive singing rather than shouting. From a single steep site, it's a study in tension and precision.
