"Harvested on three fruit days (September 24, September 27 and October 14), the 2024 Flower Day Dry Riesling HJW Vineyard features lovely florals on the nose (lime blossom), plus scents of green apples and white peaches. Made exclusively in stainless steel and weighing in at 11% alcohol and with 11 grams per liter of residual sugar, it's sort of a feinherb style, light- to medium-bodied on the palate, with a crisp, stony and mouthwatering finish." —Joe Czerwinski

Seneca Lake's Riesling ambassador since 1979. Hermann Wiemer built a ninety-acre vineyard and trained Fred Merwarth and Oskar Bynke to run it. Herbicide-free for over twenty years, sustainable to the core, they're making dry Riesling that holds its own against anything in the Finger Lakes.
