Jo Landron is a Loire Valley icon—a pioneer of organic and biodynamic farming in Muscadet Sèvre et Maine and a master at capturing the subtlety and vitality of his vineyards. Amphibolite is one of his flagship wines, named for the ancient amphibolite rock that underpins these prized parcels near Nantes.

The 2022 vintage is classic Landron: bracingly fresh and vibrant, with notes of green apple, lemon peel, crushed stones, and salty sea spray. Aged sur lie for extra texture and depth, it manages to be both feather-light and impressively layered, carrying that unmistakable Loire mineral snap straight through to the long, mouthwatering finish.

This is Muscadet at its most authentic and most essential—perfectly unadorned and designed to bring out the best in anything that once lived in a shell.

Pair with: oysters, clams, sushi, chèvre, or a beach picnic.
