A beautiful, bubbly co-ferment of two of Bairrada's most important grape varieties. Maria Gomes juice and whole Baga berries are partially fermented together in stainless steel, before the mixture is pressed and fermentation is finished in the bottle. No sulfur added. It offers a medley of red berry flavors (strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant) and plenty of refreshing fizz. A party starter, for sure.

Maria Pato created the playful Duckman project (pato means duck in Portuguese) in Portugal's Bairrada region, inheriting her father Luis's legacy as a Baga advocate. She works two vineyards within twenty kilometers of the Atlantic coast, farming sustainably and making wines that feel rebellious and rooted in equal measure.
