Perfect Pairings

Sip neat at room temperature, with a small pitcher of water on the side. Keep food out of the way: roasted nuts, an aged hard cheese, or a square of dark chocolate at most.

Tasting Profile

Cask strength (51.3%) from a single hogshead, unpeated and natural in colour. Lowland malt distilled in 1969 and left in oak for three and a half decades, so expect weight and depth rather than delicacy. Add water in stages and let it open.
