Kistler doesn't make wine for everyone, and they've never pretended to. A cult winery since the 1980s, they're obsessed with single-clone Chardonnay and site-driven Pinot Noir from Sonoma's best vineyards. Kistler Vineyards is a family owned estate, founded in 1978. They produce both of the main Burgundy varietals, but are most known for their various heritage Chardonnay bottlings from throughout Sonoma county. The wines are produced using native yeasts, French oak, and are unfined and unfiltered.
