This is the top of the range from Antoine Lepetit de la Bigne, the biodynamic specialist who spent eight years at Domaine Leflaive before launching La Pierre Ronde. Les Charmes-Dessus is one of Meursault's most celebrated premier crus, prized for combining richness with finesse. Expect a generous, layered white ripe orchard fruit, hazelnut, and a deep mineral core, with the polish of careful oak aging. It's drinking well now but has the structure to develop beautifully over the next decade. A genuinely serious Meursault from an exciting source.

More about La Pierre Ronde (Antoine Lepetit de la Bigne)

Antoine Lepetit de la Bigne spent eight years at Domaine Leflaive, then became a world-class consultant, then started his own house in 2021. These aren't old vines, but his methodology is: amphorae, barrels, foudres, whole clusters. A new voice making wines that respect terroir and refuse to shout.
