Loop de Loop is a tiny operation in Washington's Columbia Gorge, run by Julia and Scott on the edge of the Cascades at 1,200 feet, where everything ferments with wild yeast and the cellar work stays as hands-off as possible. This is their Gamay-Pinot Noir, a blend of two cool-climate charmers grown high on Underwood Mountain. It is the 2024, fresh and juicy, the kind of low-intervention red that begs for a slight chill and an easy night. Crunchy, bright, and built for drinking, not contemplating. A great introduction to the natural side of the Gorge.
