Louis Roederer, Champagne Brut Collection 246, NV

Use code 10OFF to get 10% off 12+ bottles

The 246th assemblage by one of Champagne's most prestigious houses. Collection 246 is built on 55% wines from the 2021 harvest, enriched with 35% perpetual reserve wines (2012-2020) and 10% reserve wines aged in oak (2012-2017). Chef de Caves Jean-Baptiste Lecaillon raised the Chardonnay proportion to 54%, well above the low-forties norm for the series, to balance the challenging 2021 base. Partial malolactic (30%) retains freshness. The result is Roederer's signature: precise, complex, and generous.

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!
