One of Oregon's oldest and highest-elevation vineyards, Temperance Hill sits in the direct path of cool, salt-laden Pacific air, allowing extended ripening with restrained sugar and preserved acidity. Evan Martin was inspired by Hubert Lamy's St. Aubins approach for this debut cuvée. The result is taut, mineral, and fragrant—a masterclass in cool-climate Chardonnay terroir with intense freshness and dynamic grip.

Antonio Galloni

"The 2023 Chardonnay Temperance Hill Vineyard is a total pleasure on the nose, blending fresh apricot and white peach with mint leaves and stone dust. Elegance defines the feel, as oily textures are supported by juicy acidity while ripe green melon and a hint of yellow apple settle over a salty mineral core. Tension carries the 2023 through a long, staining finish, leaving a spicy tinge and the palate salivating for more. This wine was refined in 14% new French oak." —Eric Guido
