Nigl’s “Urgestein” Riesling 2022 comes from vineyards planted on ancient rocky soils in Austria’s Kremstal DAC, just across the river from the Wachau. This wine showcases what makes Austrian dry Riesling so compelling: crisp fruit, stony backbone, and laser-like acidity.

Expect bright aromas of lime zest, green apple, and white peach, supported by wet stone and fresh herbs. Fermented in stainless steel and bottled young, it’s all about purity, drive, and drinkability. The 2022 vintage, with its cool clarity and balance, emphasizes freshness and finesse.
