Perseval-Farge is a fifth-generation grower-producer in Chamery, a Premier Cru village in the Montagne de Reims. With just over 4 hectares under vine, the family farms sustainably and crafts wines that balance the richness of Pinot with the elegance of Chardonnay—all while flying under the radar of bigger-name estates.

Their Cuvée de Réserve Brut is a classic grower blend of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, with a significant proportion of aged reserve wines in the mix. It’s this multi-vintage layering that gives the wine its signature depth: baked apple, lemon curd, hazelnut, and subtle brioche, all underpinned by a fine bead and vibrant acidity.

Fermented and aged partially in oak, this cuvée walks the line between plush and precise—serious enough to savor, but still joyful enough to toast with. With its focus on estate-grown fruit and patient cellar work, this is Champagne for Burgundy drinkers and terroir chasers alike.

Pair it with: roast poultry, mushroom vol-au-vents, or triple-cream cheeses (yes, really).

A 10-acre (4-hectare) estate in the premier cru village of Chamery in the Petite Montagne of Champagne's Montagne de Reims. The Perseval family traces its roots to the early 1800s; today Benoist, Isabelle, and their son Henri carry on the tradition. 40% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Meunier, plus old varieties (Arbanne, Petit Meslier, Fromentot). Recently in conversion for organic certification. Small production, serious farming, wines built to age.
