What importer Bowler Wine has to say about this wine...
100% Pinot Noir. 2023 is the second vintage from this hectare of Pinot Noir on a gentle, south-facing slop of Portlandian limestone in Saint Bris. Planted in 1978 and farmed organically with low yields (40 hl/ha). The bunches are hand-harvested, left in whole clusters and spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts in barrique with a 12-day maceration and two to three gentle pumpovers. The wine is aged for a year in barrique--only one barrel is produced--without racking and is bottled without filtration. Zero sulfur is added to the wine.

Burgundy has long been the world's most famous wine region. But, underneath all the prestige, this region can be hard to get to know.
While Burgundy offers many great trophies from top producers in well-known villages like Vosne Romanee and Puligny Montrachet, it also offers excellent values to anyone willing to explore beyond the famous names. Our collection– one of the largest in the U.S. – has plenty of both!
From the very basics of Burgundy's regions and wines to the specific terroirs of individual single vineyards--
everything you need to know about Bourgogne is just a click away!
