Pinot Blanc grown on a fossilized coral reef — that's the hook, and you can taste it. Prieler's Ried Seeberg sits on a limestone plateau some 180 to 220 meters up, about 50 meters above the village of Schützen, overlooking Lake Neusiedl on soil built from an ancient reef (Leithakalk) that holds moisture and lends the wine a saline snap. Fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel and never touched by oak, it's all about freshness, clarity and mineral drive. Weissburgunder rarely gets this much personality. A white that overdelivers for anyone who thinks Pinot Blanc is boring.

"The 2024 Pinot Blanc Schützen Ried Seeberg grows on a limestone site that rises to 220 meters. The whole-bunch pressed juice included whole berries during fermentation to add a phenolic element. Exquisite creaminess is rich with lemon, smooth, soothing and bright. The palate almost recalls raw shortcrust pastry but is framed by a lovely phenolic structure, a wonderful combination.
