Prima Piuma is a Piedmont project focused on approachable, everyday expressions of the region’s classic grapes. This bottling comes from Nebbiolo grown in the Monferrato hills, an area east of Barolo and Barbaresco where Nebbiolo thrives but wines are made in a more relaxed, earlier-drinking style.

Monferrato Nebbiolo offers a lighter, more affordable entry point, with all the variety’s signature aromatics—rose, cherry, spice—without the wait. What does this wine taste like?
Medium-bodied, with bright red cherry, raspberry, and rose petal layered over hints of licorice and earthy spice. Tannins are gentler than in Barolo, making the wine smooth and versatile, with fresh acidity on the finish.
