This accessible kosher blend showcases Israel's wine renaissance—80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Merlot from the Galilee and Judean Hills. Recanati Winery, founded in 2000 by Lenny Recanati, made history in 2014 by reviving Marawi, an ancient grape grown in Israel for 3,000 years but abandoned in modern times. The Yasmin Red delivers ripe plum and cherry with notes of violets and black pepper, rounded tannins, and balanced acidity. The 2023 is ready now and will cellar for 5+ years. Serve slightly cool at 60-65°F with barbecue, spicy dishes, or a cheese platter
