A gorgeous Chardonnay from Domaine Drouhin Oregon's Roserock site, purchased in 2013. Already well established in the Dundee Hills, the Drouhins noticed the powerful, dark-fruited Pinots and exceptional Chardonnays coming out of the Eola-Amity Hills, a now-star-studded Willamette Valley subregion near Salem that is directly affected by cool winds from the Pacific Ocean. With its volcanic soils, cooler temperatures and high elevations, this area is catnip for winemakers. 

Roserock Chardonnay has made the Wine Spectator Top 100 list twice, ridiculously balanced and shockingly complex.
