Fizzy, chilled red Lambrusco in a can is the most fun you can have with Italian wine, and this one has serious pedigree behind it. Scarpetta is the project of Master Sommelier Bobby Stuckey and chef Lachlan Patterson of Boulder's beloved Frasca. "Scarpetta" is the little piece of bread you use to mop up the last of the sauce, which tells you exactly how they want you to drink this: at the table, unfussed. Made from traditional Lambrusco grapes in Emilia, it's dark ruby, lightly sparkling, and finishes with a tart snap. Toss the four-pack in the cooler and pour it with pizza night.
