Rioja rosado once meant something deep and old-fashioned, but Sandra Bravo makes hers the way you actually want to drink pink today. Sourced from among her highest, coldest plots in the Sierra de Tolono foothills of Rioja Alavesa, this is a blend of 60% Tempranillo and 40% Garnacha from organically farmed old vines, vinified fresh and pale. Bravo learned to chase altitude and minerality during years in Priorat and abroad, and it shows here in a rosado that's more mountain stream than fruit punch. Dry, zippy, and built to disappear fast on a warm afternoon.
