The “303” bottling isn’t your everyday Spätlese—it’s a tribute to Spreitzer’s legendary 1920 vintage, which clocked in at 303° Oechsle (basically off the charts). Today, the name marks their highest-selection fruit from the Lenchen Eiserberg site, and in 2023, that means rich, spicy, and flat-out gorgeous Riesling.

Expect golden peach, orange blossom, and a dash of exotic spice, all cushioned by a glossy texture and lifted by laser-focused acidity. It’s decadent but super precise—like biting into perfectly ripe fruit that still has a cool snap. There’s a gentle sweetness, of course, but the balance is so dialed that it feels more mouthwatering than indulgent.

This is Spätlese for people who think they prefer dry—layered, age-worthy, and bursting with personality. A total showstopper with spicy dishes, blue cheese, or nothing at all but a good glass and some time.
