Tasting Notes & Food Pairings

Perfect Pairings

Sip neat first, then add a few drops of water and watch it open. Good with aged Cheddar, honey-roasted nuts, dark chocolate, apple tart, or a plate of smoked ham.

Tasting Profile

Undiluted at 56.4% and left in its natural colour. Speyside in character, with the orchard fruit and vanilla-toffee sweetness a first-use hogshead lends. Concentrated and spirit-forward on the palate; a splash of water widens it into a long, warm, malty finish.
