"The 2023 Soave Classico Monte Carbonare tempts the senses with a bouquet of flint stones and white smoke, complicating freshly sliced nectarines and hints of rosemary. It is soothingly round with a balanced inner sweetness offset by saline mineral tones as a gorgeous mix of ripe apple and sour lime plays a game of contrasts on the palate. This finishes with excellent length and clarity, leaving nuances of candied citrus and sweet sage to linger.
