A clean, dry, food-loving sake from Japan's hard-drinking seafood coast. Suigei, which means Drunken Whale, was founded in 1872 in Kochi City on the Tosa Sea, and named after a legendarily thirsty feudal lord. This Tokubetsu Junmai is the brewery's signature: crisp, dry and bracing, built specifically to cut through the rich, oily seafood of the region while staying easy to drink all night. The handy 300ml format makes it perfect for a meal for one or two. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
