A perfect encapsulation of Balaton's standout qualities: elegance, minerality, and salty-smoky palate. Its lean structure and flinty top notes open up to display a happy, delicious, easy-drinking wine, with impressive length. Villa Tolnay follows a Burgundian classification system and the two stars on the Tenger label indicate its village or 2nd tier status. The blend of popular regional varieties—Chardonnay, Rajnai Rizling (Riesling), Olaszrizling and Furmint—allows the terroir to shine through. Tenger combines the drinkability of a Pinot Grigio with the classicism and structure of a Chablis.
