On the palate, this is a full-bodied, rich and very intense yet also pure, fresh and tight, vibrantly mineral and persistently saline Syrah. It's impressively fresh and tight for this extraordinary warm and dry vintage but also sweet, generous and warming on the finish. The tannins are crunchy but fine and intermingled with chalky, vivacious acidity that gives this red fabulous energy, drive and length. 13% stated alcohol." —Stephan Reinhardt
