Presents
A Van Volxem Masterclass
with
Owner Roman Niewodniczanski

Dear Wine Lovers,

Roman Niewodniczanski, owner of Van Volxem loves the Saar. His one goal in life, is to make wine so good, everyone else will love it as much as he does. He will be here in New York next week to share that love with us.

The Saar is one of the most difficult regions to make wine in the world. It's cold, with windy valleys, super steep sites, old, often un-grafted (low yielding) vines have been drawing intrepid producers for millennia. When the stars align the wines are perfect: wispy, ethereal, Riesling that beckons the drinker to have just one more sip.

Grosses Gewächs are a designation of an estates best dry wines from Grand Cru vineyards. The most famous, Scharzhof, is just one of many excellent sites for wine in the Saar. Roman will take us on a journey, tasting through a series of his various GG wines, comparing vintages and, discussing the terroir that makes them so special.

We hope you can join us next Tuesday, April 11th starting at 5:30pm on our mezzanine for this very special class.

Food will be provided along with the 10 wines, all of which will be available on a pre-sale basis, with discounts, after the event.

Cost is $20 per person, which can be used towards the purchase of Van Volxem wines. Seating is very limited and will be on a first-come-first-serve basis. Reserve your spot today by purchasing your ticket below.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Clara
