"The 2023 Aligoté Plantation 1902 includes a tiny amount (2-3%) of Pinot Gris. It has a glorious bouquet with lanolin, beeswax and a hint of antique furniture. This is very complex and focused, with wonderful delineation and texture. The palate is beautifully balanced with a citrus-fresh core, notes of nectarine, a tang of marmalade and a squeeze of lime on the finish. The 2023 is superb. It should be bottled in August, possibly September." —Neal Martin
