A Meursault that drinks like a premier cru. Les Chevalieres is a famously stony, wind-exposed lieu-dit, and Anne Boisson's vines there were planted in 1982, old enough to deliver real depth. The combination of poor, rocky soil and cooling winds produces a wine of remarkable minerality and tension, often singled out as the most premier-cru-like of her village bottlings. She ferments with native yeasts and ages it long, around 19 to 22 months, for texture and complexity. The 2022 is a generous, sunny vintage given Boisson's signature precision. Give it a couple of years or decant it now.
