Brigaldara made its name on Amarone and Valpolicella, but the Cesari family's Soave is the quiet ringer in the lineup — a benchmark for what an honest, classically built Garganega can taste like. The estate sits on the outskirts of San Floriano in northern Verona, where Stefano Cesari and his children farm 47 hectares across the Marano valley. This is 100% Garganega from the 2024 vintage, fermented and aged in stainless steel to keep the focus squarely on the grape: white peach, lemon pith, white flowers, and a chalky, almond-tinged finish that's the unmistakable signature of good Soave. It drinks with the kind of light-footed energy you want from a daily white — but with enough texture and length to remind you it's coming from one of the Veneto's most serious addresses.

More about Brigaldara

Established in 1929, Brigaldara is now a benchmark for balanced, traditional Valpolicella under Stefano Cesari's stewardship. Cesari once served as President of the Growers Association, dedicating his term to improving quality through low yields, careful clones, and modern technique. Across 47 of their 120 hectares, they produce Classico, Superiore, Ripasso, and Amarone DOCG. Sustainable Wine certified since 2019, they age wines beautifully.
