"A blend of the 2019 and 2018 vintages and composed entirely of Chardonnay from Gyé-sur-Seine, Robert Barbichon’s NV Brut Nature wafts from the glass with an expressive bouquet of crisp Anjou pear, buttery pastry, lemon oil and white flowers. On the palate, it is medium- to full-bodied, concentrated and deep, with a racy spine of acidity, a generous core of fruit and a long, penetratingly saline, lemon-inflected finish. Around one-fifth of the juice was vinified in wood. Harmonious and demonstrative, it will drink very well out of gates." -Kristaps Karklins
