Red soil of medium consistency; made up of subalpine sands composed of limestone and silica.
Viticulture
Hand-harvested. Vines average 25 years of age.
Vinification
Spontaneous fermentation in concrete tanks on the skins with indigenous yeast.
Aging
Aged in Slavonian oak botti for one year followed by one year in concrete.
