From the slopes of Anjou, "La Cerisaie" presents a fresh and expressive take on Cabernet Franc. Ripe raspberries, cherries, and hints of black pepper unfold with each sip, creating a wine that’s as approachable as it is flavorful.

Domaine de la Bergerie is a leading Anjou estate in Champ-sur-Layon, now run by sisters Anne and Marie Guégniard, the eighth generation, who took over from their father Yves. Chenin Blanc is the heart of it: dry Anjou Blanc and Savennières, plus the luscious sweet wines of the Coteaux du Layon and Quarts de Chaume. There is also Cabernet Franc and some Gamay. Serious, precise Loire wines at fair prices, from a family that clearly knows its slopes.
