Premier Cru Volnay from one of Burgundy's most celebrated domaines, where Dominique Lafon has been at the helm since 1984. The estate traces to 1894 when Jules Lafon married Marie Boch, whose family had built the house and cellars between 1867-1869. Clos des Chênes sits higher on the Volnay slope, producing wines of elegance and finesse. Aged 18-22 months in barrel with 33% new oak. The domaine spans 13.8 hectares and began organic conversion in 1995.
