Alexandrine Roy is a badass. No two ways about it. Since she took over the family domaine in 2003 the wines have gotten better and better. She continues to buy faster and faster motorcycles.

Alexandrine is in charge of everything except working on the tractors–her father does that. She does the vine-growing, the wine making, sales and export and also finds time for a consulting job in Oregon at Phelps Creek Winery. This may have paid for the yellow motorcycle.
She has four hectares that she treats like her garden. The hectares are all in village plots, but very well situated and with incredibly old vines. Her wines drink like premier crus. She is a great grape grower and very skilled winemaker. Her wines are transparent, pure, elegant and refined–wines of great precision. This is an estate that makes the most of their fine yet modest holdings.
