No Es Pituko ("it ain't fancy" in Chilean slang) captures Echeverría's philosophy: unfined, unfiltered natural wines from the Curicó Valley made without additives. The family has farmed these ungrafted, pre-phylloxera vines since they were planted in 1930, but only recognized the treasure in their own backyard in the '90s; today the farming is organic and the cellar work is as hands-off as it gets. The 2025 is hand-harvested and fermented with wild yeasts, bottled with its natural haze intact and never touched by oak, so the fruit and the valley's dramatic day-night temperature swings stay front and center. Bright citrus and spice dominate — orange peel, mandarin and lime — with a lively texture and a snappy, mineral finish. They could add oak and a marketing budget and charge twice as much, but that would be a little too pituko.

More about Echeverria

A family that's been making wine in Chile since 1750 didn't break stride when they landed in the Curicó Valley in 1923. For decades they were content as bulk producers until 1990, when they decided to bottle their own wine and changed everything. Today they're still family-owned and still making some of the most honest, unfussy wines from the Central Valley.
