$99.99
Use code 10OFF to get 10% off 12+ bottles

Prestige cuvée from one of Champagne's great grower families. The Chiquet family has grown grapes here since 1746, with winemaking beginning in 1911 and the Gaston Chiquet brand established in 1935. Now in its 8th generation. This Special Club bottling—70% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir—comes from Premier and Grand Cru sites across Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers, and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. Minimum 3 years on lees with 60+ months total aging. Each cuvée must pass multiple tastings to earn the Special Club designation. No oak aging—winemaker Nicolas Chiquet favors purity and fruit expression.

More about Gaston Chiquet

Nicolas Chiquet planted the first vines in 1746, and eight generations of Chiquets have tended Dizy's soil ever since. Gaston registered the company in 1935 and expanded to Aÿ, Cumières, and Hautvillers. Antoine and Nicolas Chiquet now run things—hands-on, honest, focused on the vineyards. These grower Champagnes are innately lovable, tactful, and attractive.

Champagne

Champagne boasts some of the world’s greatest luxury brands with Krug, Cristal and, of course, Dom Perignon. But it’s also home to hundreds of small dynamic producers—farmers who grow their own grapes (often organically) and make (often with natural methods) tiny amounts of pure and absolutely delicious wine that reflect the individual personalities of their villages and terroirs. Toast with these wines, for sure. But also treat them like the great wines they are: taste, drink, explore!
