Henry Fuchs is a small, fourth-generation family domaine in Ribeauville, one of Alsace's prettiest wine towns, farming organically across a patchwork of marl-limestone parcels. Paul Fuchs took the reins in the mid-2000s and pointed everything toward dry, terroir-honest wines, and this village Riesling is the clearest window into that project. It's bone-dry, all Riesling, built on brisk acidity and the wet-stone cut that makes Alsace Riesling such a reliable table companion. There's nothing showy here, just clean, precise, thirst-quenching white wine from a family that has been at this since 1922. An easy answer when you want something crisp and honest.

The Fuchs family took up viticulture in 1922, and Paul (fourth generation) flipped the switch to organic in the mid-2000s. His ten-and-a-half-hectare Alsace domain spans Ribeauvillé, Hunawihr, and Bergheim in marl-limestone terroir. He's making dry, rich Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris that taste like the foothills of the Vosges actually matter.
