Jean Perrier et Fils is a longtime standout in Savoie, and their “Cuvée Gastronomie” Pinot Noir lives up to its name — it’s made to drink with food and drink easily. Grown in the foothills of the French Alps, this Pinot is light-bodied, bright, and low in alcohol, with pure red fruit and gentle structure.

You’ll find notes of cranberry, wild strawberry, and soft spice, with refreshing acidity and minimal tannin. It's fermented entirely in stainless steel to preserve the beautiful fruit character. Serve it with a chill alongside cheeses, charcuterie, roast poultry, or roast veggies.

More about Jean Perrier et Fils

Seven generations of the Perrier family have worked the Alpine slopes of Savoie since 1853, producing wines from a landscape most people assume is too high, too cool. Yet their Apremont, Roussette, and Mondeuse showcase terroir with surprising depth. A regional masterclass in doing more with less.

Tasting Profile

Alpine Pinot Noir with red cherry, white pepper, and mineral notes. Light body with fine tannins, bright acidity, and flavors of strawberry, cranberry, and slate. Elegant, mineral-driven finish.

The Savoie is a small, mountainous region, with unique terroir, local grapes and traditions. The Perrier family have been vignerons there since 1853. And while they've been at the forefront of quality innovations (they were the first to bottle their own production way back in 1947, when much of Burgundy still didn't), they are traditionalists where it counts: the farming is sustainable, they hand-harvest and the work in the winery lets the beautiful varietal and limestone-clay soils do the talking.
