Les Bruchots is a single vineyard in the Côte de Beaune, just outside both Savigny and the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune. The Chenu sisters bottle this high-elevation, stony site as their electric, refreshing Bourgogne Blanc. The vines are already 40 years old, and the wine shows plenty of lemony citrus and crushed-limestone minerality, nearly unmarked by the neutral oak it ages in for a year. Delicious on its own or with oysters or grilled fish.

"The 2024 Bourgogne Les Bruchots, bottled a couple of weeks before my visit, has a strangely Aligoté-like bouquet (there is actually no Aligoté this year) with pithy pear and oily scents. The palate offers bitter lemon notes on the entry, moderate weight, nothing complex but there is plenty of freshness and quite impressive length on the finish." —Neal Martin
