This is a day at the beach in a bottle. Terralibera farms Verdicchio in the Castelli di Jesi, in the Adriatic-facing Marche, and they do it about as gently as anyone can, going beyond organic and biodynamic to barely treat the vines at all, letting wild flora grow all around them. The Classico Superiore tier means lower yields and more depth than your average Verdicchio. Fermented in steel to keep it bright and clean, it's floral, fresh, and shot through with sea salt. Proof that Italy's once-overlooked regions are quietly making world-class whites.
