A back-vintage Barbaresco from one of Treiso's quietly excellent family estates, now nearly two decades old and ready to pour. Ada Nada has farmed in the Rombone cru since 1919; today Anna Lisa Nada and Elvio Cazzaro run the show, and the Elisa bottling is named for one of their daughters. It comes from old Nebbiolo vines in Rombone, aged in traditional Slavonian oak botti. The 2007 was a warm, ripe vintage, so this drinks generously now, with the sweet-savory tertiary character mature Nebbiolo is prized for. Decant and drink up over the next few years.
